This elegant Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon is crimson, almost black. With blueberry and red berry fruits, toasty/chary oak character and classic Cigarbox in a very complex and lifted aroma. There are hints of cedar and 'dark chocolate'.

The palate has blackberry and stalky varitel characters which dominate the palate over a background of sweet vanillin oak. There is a perceived sweetness from the lovely ripe fruit flavours which is nicely balanced by soft tannins. The structure has great persistence and richness from an extended time in barrel. 

Time in the bottle will see even more complexity with the development of even more cedar, chocolate and violet like characters.
